Hello to all,

My name is Jared Shumate. I am seventeen-years-old, and live in a dump town in North Carolina. Umm, I have only recently started writing--about a year ago--and found it to be something I should've been doing years in the past. Some of my favorite writers are as follows: Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, and Joe Hill. I have a facination with odd and dark tales that make people cringe and or ask themselves; "What the F*** just happened?" I love to read them and write them. And, I guess that's pretty much it.

Greetings all,

Antonio's the name, although I write under a pseudonym for various reasons. Always looking to make some friends in the writing world, if not only to remind myself I'm not the only one under the pressure our chosen road heaps onto us. I've been writing as long as I can remember but have only taken it to the realm of attempting to be published about two years ago. Had a few successes and a few setbacks but loving the journey. Looking forward to meeting most of you.

Hello,

My name is J. Travis Grundon...as I'm sure you can tell. I have written the Silven Trumpeter, Scars Magazine, and most recently Paracinema Magazine. I love to do the horror conventions and interview my friends and other horror folks.

While I love doing interviews, reviews and articles, my true love is writing fiction. I ahve had many of my short stories published, but the one I am most proud of is the HELP anthology to benefit Preditors and Editors. I am also working on a collection of zombie short fiction with Cassandra Lee, Eric Enck, Joe Knetter and many more. We are calling it Anthology of the Living Dead and I am really excited about it, but not nearly as excited as I am that i just finished my first book and I'm 13 chapters into book two.

I found this place through MySpace and I look forward to meeting some great people here...thanks for having me!

I saw a blurb on the Living Dead Anthology, can't wait to pick up a copy.
