Yeah, I'd say you belong to this forum. Nice to "meat" you man. Wah, hah, ha!

OK, I'm a dork.

But seriously, it's nice to meet a new writer, and I'm sure you'll do very well. Having your first story published in an anthology, especially "Beneath the Surface," is a pretty big deal. I can't wait to read it. Amazon needs to speed it up. Free shipping, my a@#. It saves you money, but it costs you time.

Hi everyone.

My name is Stephen Blackmoore. I'm out in the great western wasteland that is Los Angeles. I mostly write crime fiction, but make forays into horror, and have stories in Plots With Guns, Shots, Demolition and Spinetingler.

You can blame my presence here on Christa. Hi Christa! So if I start running around and screaming like a crazed macaque, you know who to point fingers at.

Wow, this looks to be a great community growing for this magazine, that's very cool.

I feel a bit lonely though, being all the way down here in Texas while everyone else is from up north.

Just me and Robert E. Howard here...and I really can't start a conversation with him unless I get some re-agent from Dr. West, and that'd take a trip up north to get, or a time machine. And I don't think my first published story will net me enough cash for either.

But that's not a prob. Can't wait to see Issue 3! I'm still amazed that the letter I got from you guys at shroud wasn't a "Nah, we're good, thanks hombre." letter!

Hi folks! I'm Kevin, and I'm thrilled to be in Abominations. I live in upstate New York in little known Binghamton, (an hour south of SU), with my wife, daughter, and son. I teach high school English, I'm working part time on my graduate degree in Creative Writing, and obviously - I love to write. At the moment, I'm playing with all genres, just trying to enjoy the craft. I've had some other stuff published, I write for our city newspaper, but I won't belabor you all with the mundane details. That stuff's all on my website:

Hi, My name is Greg Bastianelli and I'm from New Hampshire, just a stone's throw from Tim's town of Milton. I'm 48 and have been writing horror stories since I was 11. I've been published recently in a handful of small press magazines. I attended the University of New Hampshire, where a couple of my writing teachers were authors Mark Smith and Tom Williams. Until recently, I worked as an editor at the local daily newspaper, but started a new government job in January. A couple of my highlights at the newspaper job was getting to do a telephone interview with shock rock legend Alice Cooper, and also, B-movie icon Bruce Campbell. My new job is certainly not as interesting, but pays the bills better. Some of my biggest influences in my writing have been Ray Bradbury and Richard Matheson.

Or they could just shoot you. Y'know, because of your resemblance to a Rage zombie. Very Happy

Hey Greg B. - when did you go to UNH? I went from '93-'97, but I doubt we'd have crossed paths... my major was Economics. (I did work in Ham Smith in the basement computer lab, but not for long. Though I then moved over to the CIS Help Desk. I think I talked to just about everyone on campus there.)

Welcome all newbies!

You're just jealous.

It is very considerate of you to think that, but remember, I already have two crazed macaques living with me. So no. No, I am not jealous.

Now if you told me you were living in peace and contentment, with plenty of writing time and no one to eat all your favorite foods or interrupt you every five minutes no matter what you were doing at the time, THAT I would be jealous of.

Hey everyone

My name is Isaiyan Morrison and I'm from the city of Minneapolis.
I'm 28, female, and a student double majoring in English (creative writing emphasis) and History (Ancient Mediterranean.) I'm aiming to teach history at a college level.
Anyway, I've been writing since I was 12. Joined the military when I was 20, couldn't find my muse, and left as soon as my four years were up. I've recently started writing again and I'm enjoying every minute of it!

I have a couple of things published here and there.

Nice to meet you all.
