Just thought I would let people know since Tim may not.
Go to their Website for the details, but P&E are getting sued for telling the truth, and they need $$. They got the idea to do an anthology, and it looks to be massive. Authors that have donated work to the cause and been excepted are:
Tim Deal
Natalie Sin
JG Faherty
Me
and a whole lot of others. If you're a member on this forum, in the Anthology and I missed you, I'm sorry.
It is going to be a LARGE collection and a must have.

I just sent them a story. A satirical, apropos piece written as a correspondence between a naive and struggling would-be poet, a famous
(and predatory) washed-up author, and a shady publisher...
I did read that the deadline for submissions was yesterday (April 5), but hopefully, given the uniqueness of this antho, they are still open to contributions...? Hope I can sneak in under the door... _________________ --Scott

Hi,
This is my first post. The actual title of the anthology is HELP and there are more than 65 contributing authors in the genres of horror, sci-fi and fantasy including, I'm most honored to say, myself. Mine is a zombie-themed story that takes place primarily on a run down fishing trawler and is called "Catch Your Death". The official MySpace page for the anthology is: http://www.myspace.com/preditorsandeditors There's a blog there with a complete list of contributors for anyone who's interested.
Much Love & Darkness!

Hey Tim, I just thought you may be too humble to toot your own horn.
Personally, I suck at self promotion so thought I would start a thread. I'm going to buy several as gifts for my family.

Looks like I didn't quite make it in under the deadline, but I will certainly buy a few copies - both to support the worthy cause and to read all of your stories! Congrats all!!

Can't believe I put down Hope Anthology, what a dork. I think I'm projecting. It's to HELP P&E, but for me it is HOPE. It really makes the effort and stack of rejections slips worthwhile. I have to beleive that most people keep going for the same reason, they love to write. It would be cool if others loved or heck even liked what we wrote, but that is only part of it.
I got to the point where I figured if just one writer, just one that I respected read soemthing of mine and liked it, I would be satisfied, and I am. That doesn't mean I will write less, just the opposite, but something fell in place with this more than my online acceptances for my other stories. Not sure why, but there it is.
