An American novelist and short story writer. He has sold over 150 stories in the mystery, horror, erotica, and science fiction fields. Piccirilli has been a final nominee for the World Fantasy Award and won the first Bram Stoker Award given in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Poetry.

Beautiful book. I told Tom it had the atmosphere of BLACK SNAKE MOAN if Tim Burton would have directed it and Joseph Conrad had written the script.

That is one of my all time favorite books and one of those that made me realize that it's good to push boundries, be brave and follow the characters instead of trying to force them to do what you want them to do. Awesome! Pic rocks!
