Where in the World is Tim Deal???

Postby shroud on Tue Sep 16, 2008 6:24 pm

I just wanted to let you guys know that this month is extremely busy for me both professionally and personally. I am getting Shroud 4, Northern haunts, and All You Despise laid out, proofed and to the printers. In addition I am spending a lot of time getting orders out as quickly as possible.

I am currently on a work-related business trip to Washington DC.

Next weekend will have me at the Highland games up in NH with my family and friends, and then the weekend after that will be Context 21.

Please do not fear as I am hard at work on getting these loose-ends tied up and not spending as much time online on MySpace or this message board.

Thanks!

Tim

No rest for the wicked, or so they say. But seriously, it's better to be busy, and I'm looking forward to all the great things Shroud is gonna do!

Keep up the good work, my friend.

And rest assured, Tim - from what little I know about the business, you're doing the right thing: you're taking the time to make things high quality. That always pays in spades in the end.

You just need to clone yourself, Tim. But that would mean you would have to take the extra time to invent cloning technology. An alternative method would be to buy a cloning machine off of Ebay.

Sounds about as reliable as the time machine used by Napoleon Dynamite and his brother. :)

Hey don't stress yourself out. We do appreciate the update though and the recent submission responses.

Enjoy the Games and relax.
There is too much artsy talk about death. The knife severs the artery to your heart and you die. There is nothing beautiful in that -- just ask the guy who has the clean it up after you've pumped a bucket of red syrup out of your body.

Man, I love the Highland Games. I work weekends, so haven't been to see them in a few years but I've always loved watching them chuck the caber and toss the stones.

I tried my hand at caber chucking during a demonstration and didn't do too badly - didn't put it over but got it up to about 85 degrees or so. Nearly brained myself trying to chuck the stone - and forget about the Farmer's Walk. I couldn't even budge those goddamn rocks.

At least you tried! That's pretty awesome. I actually saw the Highland Tattoo in Halifax a couple of years back. It was amazing!
