Open Season

Postby prutig on Sun Feb 01, 2009 4:56 am

I just thought I'd remind everyone that Shroud will be open to subs again on February 1st 2009--aka TOMORROW! Give those stories a final once over, double-check the guidelines, and send those mothers out!

Hmm, I am also curious: does anyone else have a submission still being held from the last reading period? I've been on pins and needles for months (but the hope never dies)!

Me too! Although I've forgotten what I went them :? In fact, if asked, I could only tell you that I have stories out. If pressed for details I would tell you "fiction places."

Hehe, I always write down where (and when) I send my subs so I can keep track, although sometimes it's more galling than helpful (never nice seeing the year's total number of rejections staring you in the face). I'm glad to know I'm not the only one waiting though--best of luck to you Natalie!

I've got a story awaiting its fate there as well. Good luck to everyone.

Nat! I thought you used submission tracker on Duotrope?

I'm on the short list and watching the "What's New" section on Duotrope. There have been a few recent rejections, so they must be getting closer.
