Just got the "You're in" letter from Tim, and I can't express how great it is to know that I'll be able to give something back to the cancer community after all the garbage I've been through and all the support I've gotten.

Ooh, congratulations Phil.

I've noticed acceptances going up all over the place. Getting very, very worried. Shocked

I'm with you, Natalie.

My mouse has crawled away due to over-repeated clicks on send & receive.

Congrats to Phil and anyone else who has been included into this kick-ass anthology! The cover rocks! I'm waiting to hear as well and will be submitting number two shortly. Very Happy

Playing the waiting game myself. Got a rewrite request from Mr. Deal the other day, revised it to specifications, sent it back to him. Holding out for a reply.

Luckily, I also have Hungry Hungry Hippos in case I get bored. And a carton of cigarettes. And nothing better to do with my time.

Just got the word from Tim - my story "Mother Ocean" is in! I'm really excited to be a part of this project, and can't wait to see who else made the TOC.

So far I received a "nay" on one, and nothing on the other - but it's all good.

No word yet either yeah or neigh. I sent mine in pretty late though. I was lamenting about the curse/blessing of Duotrope on another board. There is no response time target for a project like this, but I have three stories out that are past due for the average of each market. While not strong on math, I remember what average is, but since it's past it just sucks being a statistical anomaly in 4 different markets.

Tim is pretty fast, I have a little old 100 word story that has passed the four month mark. OUCH.

This is a great project and I would love to be included, but either way I will be buying a couple of copies, so those of you that get in need to sign my book when I see you at a Con.
