Ingram Periodicals orders 1400 issues of Shroud #6

Postby shroud on Mon Feb 23, 2009 1:55 pm

Ordered... not paid for though.

Therefore I need to generate revenue for the print run. If anyone knows of any potential advertisers, THIS is the issue they want to be in.

Special rates for Authors and small press publishers.

This is terrific news!

And I see that a 1/4 page advertising is only $30.00!

I went ahead and purchased an ad, 300 DPI B&W 3.75 X 4.75, yes?

What's the deadline to have this submitted?

I'll have it over to you in the next couple of days at least.

Tim, wish there was more I could do to help out, name it and I'll do it.

For now I'll blog the crap out of Shroud Magazine and bulliten it up all over myspace!

When should we start looking for this in the stores?

I'm stoked that it's finally going to be carried in my local bookstore (I checked and yep, it's on the list for them to have it).

And they can finally thank the gods that I'm not in there every two weeks asking if they carry it yet <smile>.

I checked the two stores in my area and so far they 'don't' have Shroud on their list. But they said that it may show up on their list in May since that's when the mag hits stores.

So we'll see.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to the issue, especially if it's sold in Monroeville.

All I can say is that the story I have in this issue ties in to Monroeville by name and subject. A lovely little ditty called 'Natural Selection'.

Ingram just added 300+ more copies to the order... These are the retailers that will be carrying Shroud:

Barnes & Noble
Hastings
Follett
Fountain News
Super-fly Comics
New Horizons Book Shop
The Homet Bookstore
Newsbreak

As always, thanks for your support!
