February 2009 Shipping Update

Postby shroud on Mon Feb 09, 2009 3:10 pm

Hello all! I just wanted to update you on shipping etc.

1. We are 95% complete shipping to our huge backlog of Issue #4. I know that there are a few of you still waiting, but trust me, it IS coming. Thank you so much for your patience. If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch with me and I will make things right.

2. We are about 50% complete shipping to our huge backlog in Northern Haunts Trade paperback. Another shipment is going out today, and I am additionally waiting on more priority mail boxes so that I can ship multiple orders quickly.

3. The Northern Haunts Jacketed hardcover proof is on its way to me. My printer had an issue with the In Design file, fonts, and graphics that caused a slight delay in the proof. That delay is fixed and once the proof is approved it will be shipping very quickly.

4. Northern Haunts TPB as well as 99% of the Shroud catalog is now available on Amazon at:
http://www.amazon.com/Shroud-Publishing ... _2_rsrsrs2

If you have a copy of a Shroud publication, particularly Northern Haunts, I would sincerely appreciate you posting a review or a discussion on Amazon. Because Amazon has the staff and infrastructure necessary to move items fast, they can ship in-stock items very quickly. I do my best to make sure the printer keeps Amazon in-stock.

5. I have about 3 or 4 copies of Tom Piccirilli's WONDERFUL limited edition hardcover novella, ALL YOU DESPISE, available for immediate shipping. The reviews have been amazing! All orders of AYD will receive a free shipping upgrade to priority mail.

Many exciting things to come this year! The novellas from Rio Youers, R. Scott McCoy, D. Harlan Wilson, Maurice Broaddus, Tim Waggoner, and of course the SCANDALOUS MISADVENTURES OF HIRAM GRANGE!

Thank you all!

WOOT!! I can hardly contain myself. I haven't checked the mailbox like this since I was a kid.

Hey Tim,

A quick question for you: I have an order in that contains copies of Shroud #4, a NH trade and an NH hardback. Will you be waiting to send that order out until everything, including the hardback, is available?

Thanks!
Blu

Blu, I just got an email saying that very exact thing, so I imagine so. It'll be like Christmas - dark, bloody, foreboding Christmas - late! Or really early!

I am trying to ship things out as they come available. The Hardbacks are shipping straight from my fulfillment partner, so those will come separately.

I'll try to get the rest out to you today.

No problem, Tim. If you need to ship it all at once, I'm good with waiting. I just wasn't sure if that was how you were doing it.

By the way, congrats on the Ingram/Barnes & Noble news! I checked out the store list on the site, and my store is on there! Gonna be so great to be able to pick Shroud up off the stands.

I ordered a Trade paperback of Northern Haunts back in November. I assume I haven't gotten it because you're shipping by how many orders as they were ordered. Right?

This is cute: My dad accidentally bought himself two copies (one of each) When he got the second, he thought I bought it for him!

He probably should give a copy to my sister. That way she can reread "The Nayju." Which she really must, after saying she liked my story "about the giant toad."

SPOILER ALERT = there is no toad.

I started pre-orders in June, so I am shipping out batches in the order that they came in. I apologize for the delay. They are indeed shipping and I'll be caught up soon!
