Turns out I may be moderating a panel on editing and copy-editing. Waiting for final confirmation. So ... if any of you want to hear what's done to your words getting them ready for print, and why, look for it!

P.S. And, since I'm a bit terrified of having to actually lead the thing, if anyone has pointers, I'm all ears. Several thousand of them, even.

I think - according to Tim - I'll be on a panel too. Awesome.

Danny, Kevin would be an awesome addition to your panel.
He will also sit on our pitch/critique sessions, which we are still working out.

Sweet, man. Just tell me what I'm talking about. I'm a teacher - very good at talking. It's what I do. ;)

I concur with Tommy boy. That will definitely be a fun panel. A Shroud panel! Looking forward to all of the madness. Sweet sweet madness.

But I do that every day ...

And I'll post more details about the panel, and who will be on it, once more is finalized. :) Would like to have at least more in the audience than are on the panel itself!

Tentatively, though, the panel looks like it may consist of myself, Tim, Kevin, R. Scott McCoy, and Dan and Jackie Gamber (of Meadowhawk Press).

Hey, Nick from Context asked me if I wanted to serve on two more panels to qualify as a "Context Panelist", and of course I turned him down flat.

Yeah, right.

So, in addition to Danny's panel, I'll be serving on the "Keeping the Faith" panel - the future of religion in fiction, and the "Editors, Agents, Publishers" panel. Busy bee will I be!

Very nice!!! Both panels sound great! Do you have any idea of when they will be? I just know my luck and it will be at the same time I have a workshop..

Congratz!

Okay, first of all, I want to know when Lucia ascended to Black Fluffy Bunny??

I expect a much higher turnout of people that are there for horror, vs Sci Fi and Fantasy. Last year was a pretty good turnout and the hotel was under construction, so with a nice new clean hotel, almost twice as many horror hounds and a combo party with Shroud, NT and Meadowhawk, I predict a historic occurance.
It's better to burn out, than fade away.
