Beneath The Surface and the Stoker Awards

Postby shroud on Fri Mar 28, 2008 4:39 pm

Hello gang. I have posted BTS in the HWA forums to be considered for a Stoker recommendation. Although I am technically capable of recommending it, I feel it would be in bad form to do so.

If any of you are HWA members, have read BTS, and sincerely feel that the quality of the content is high enough to be considered, you can recommend that it be considered with a simple online form here:

http://www.horror.org/private/stokers/recform.asp

Please understand that I am not soliciting your recommendations, but simply trying to make the process easier.

If you are a HWA member and would like a free .pdf copy in order to review BTS, I would be happy to oblige.

If you require a print copy, I can make that happen as well, simply PM me.

Thank you

Tim

Just got back from vacation. I managed to squeeze in some time to read down by the pool and I just want to say how much I enjoyed this collection!!

Kudo's to all the writers and to Tim for editing. I would be happy to go online at HWA and recommend it.

Good luck this weekend, Tim.

For those who aren't able to make it out to the wards, and want to sit with baited breath for Tim and Shroud to win (or brush before hand, and have a pleasant oral aroma. Either way works), you can watch the awards live at http://www.stokers2009.org/

Look at the menu on the left for "Live Video." It starts at 8-8:30pm PST on Sat., 13 June.

And, yes, suspense kills me, so I will watch the whole darn thing up until the only important result (Shroud's Beneath the Surface) just so I know. And if I could get it, would be popping Lipizor non-stop.

No win here, but honored to have made it to this point. BTS was our FIRST anthology! A nomination is much more than I could ever have wished for.
