Is anyone else a liberal comma-kazi like myself? I, just, can't, say, enough, is, enough,,. It's a terrible habit. I have an overall idea of when to use one and when not to (Elements of Style), but, for pete's sake, it's like an addiction. I'm going to wrap a rubberband around my wrist. Everytime I add an extra comma, I'll snap the rubberband,,like now,,

ARGH! I know the feeling! It's so hard to not put commas in all the spaces where my brain would pause in a sentence, but I love them!

ARGH! I DID IT AGAIN! Damn tasty commas...

I have the opposite affliction. The way I used them, you would think they were charging me per comma.

I'm not a big comma fan either. Especially with dialogue.

I like semi-colons, adverbs, and unnessecary parenthetical expressions (because they're cool like that).

I don't see anything wrong with the sentence below:

I climbed a tree this morning wearing my pajamas.

In pajamas this morning a tree I climbed.
