Much thanks! I plan on reading all the rest of the stories, too...when I take a break from writing, that is....

Which should be...err...never?

Hmmmm.

Anxiously awaiting my copy. Nice to know "Grace" made someone's fave list.

Love the book so far, especially "The Water God of Clarke Street", being a huge Lovecraft geek it's always cool to see new takes on how the "old ones" pick an avatar. Not many stories go into that facet of the "mythos".

Thanks! I'm really intrigued with that stuff, actually. I've turned it over lots in my head, lately, if a Lovecraftian-toned novel would be a good pitch to a publisher, if it would find a good audience if packed in a contemporary way.

I know that feeling. I'm writing a novel/novella (not sure yet) called "The Abyss Looks Back" about a detective who gets drawn into a series of disturbing incidents with Lovecraftian themes set in the modern day. The trick is to be Lovecraftian without being a pastiche. Hopefully I'm doing that with my book...hopefully.

Not to hijack this thread anymore - so this'll be my last on this - I think if I could come up with a story/narrative that could be ANYTHING...and has just got a deep Lovecraftian feel that doesn't even reveal itself until the reader is well engrossed in the story - that would be best. It would appeal to both Lovecraft lovers and non-Lovecraft folks.

Now - back to Abominations...
